Hello, everyone! I know this is a bit of a short notice, but Tanabata is coming up soon! For those of you who don't know what it is, Tanabata is a Japanese festival, celebrating an old legend of star-crossed lovers.

[Growing up, she always liked this story...] In the legend, a princess named Orihime fell in love with a man named Hikoboshi. The two were so deeply in love that they abandoned their duties - Orihime wove clothes, and Hikoboshi herded cattle - and so Orihime's father, the king of the heavens, punished them, forcing them to live on opposite sides of a great river and forbidding them to meet again.

But he wasn't a heartless man; when he saw just how upset his daughter had become, he agreed to a deal. If Orihime worked hard, he would allow the two to reunite on the Seventh Day of the Seventh month. And so, on July 7th, we celebrate the reunion of Hikoboshi and Orihime. The festivals that are organized for this day are quite popular, and... well. I know some people might not want to miss it.

So this Saturday, should anyone wish to attend, the Breeding Centres in both Goldenrod and Celadon City will be setting up small festivals, should anyone want to celebrate! It won't exactly be a traditional Tanabata celebration, but there will be good food and fireworks, so that's something, right? It's nice to have small reminders of home, every once in a while.

[She looks a little nervous, after she finishes. She's never helped anyone plan something this big before.] Um, if anyone has any questions, I'll do my best to answer them.

[Like many people, Sakura had something special returned to her. But she didn't have any superpowerful weapons, or inhuman features. No, for her, the thing she got back was immense, raw, magical power.

Anyone in Goldenrod who's sensitive to anything unnatural will feel an intense surge, and should they choose to investigate, they'll see Sakura looking a bit winded, leaning against a nearby building as she tries to catch her breath. Surrounding her is her group of pokemon, all looking extremely worried.]

I'm okay... really... [She smiles at the creatures, trying to reassure them.] Don't worry. There are stranger things we have to look into, right?

[She turns, taking in the tall skyscrapers and the bustling crowds.]

Um... [Sakura's already seen a bunch of strange posts on the network, so she really feels like she's bothering everyone... but all the posts are so chaotic, it's hard to figure out what's up.] I know something very strange is going on... I woke up in a city I haven't visited yet. One that's at least a couple of days away.

Does anyone know the cause of all this?

[The group consisting of Shirou, Sakura, and Rin hadn't been in Violet City long when Cobra made his announcement. Shirou, being the reckless hero that he is, had immediately run off to the Academy, leaving the two girls to follow. Sakura didn't hesitate at all; she ran in with him, helping him evacuate the people inside before the gas could spread too much.

Unfortunately, while she was helping several people out of the building, the cloth she had been keeping over her face to avoid the gas had slipped, and she got one good whiff of it. Enough to send her into a coughing fit, and gasping for air as soon as they reached a safe distance from the building. But still she went back in, continuing to aid her group in evacuating.

By the time they're done and all of the trainers are out, the gas is really starting to take its toll on her. But still she goes on; she pulls out her 'gear, sending out a quick message to anyone that might be concerned.]

The academy... d-don't worry. Everyone... we got everyone out...

[She begins coughing again, and quickly ends the recording.]
